Tom Cassel is a Senior Discovery Consultant.Tom provides e-discovery consultation and professional services to in-house and outside counsel regarding electronic discovery matters.
Tom works with in-house and outside counsel to customize effective electronic discovery solutions specifically for each matter. He regularly assists clients regarding management of electronic records, legal holds, data preservation, data collection, and production in litigation and in response to government subpoenas. He assists clients with developing and implementing legally-defensible legal hold, preservation, and collection protocols. He also serves as the point of contact between IT departments and legal departments to ensure implementation and monitoring of proper e-discovery practices. Tom has over ten years of litigation experience. Prior to joining Falcon Discovery, Tom was in private practice with Forman, Perry, Watkins, Krutz & Tardy and other firms focusing on complex litigation related to construction defects, professional liability, insurance coverage, mass tort personal injury, and property damage. Tom holds a J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law. He graduated with honors from Delta State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Aviation. Prior to law school, he worked for several years as a commercial pilot. |
